What We Do

Welcome to Bluffton Karate Center, "Ohio's Leader in Self Defense." We offer both group and private lessons for men, women, and children. We teach Classes in Shaolin Kempo, otherwise known as Shaolin Ch'uan Fa. Shaolin Ch'uan Fa is a martial arts style  with over 2000 years of proven effectiveness.

Why Study a Martial Art?

Crimes of Violence have increased dramatically nationwide. Learning to defend yourself will give you confidence to take control of any situation. Studying at the Bluffton Karate Center will elucidate the principles of self-defense and the the mental awareness needed to recognize and avoid problem situations.

Children will benefit from the edge they are given by studying a martial art. We teach children mental skills that include concentration, patience, and self-control. Children also learn the physical principles of balance, timing, and accuracy. We teach children to set goals and help them focus on achieving them!
